Entrepreneurship Program

With a gift of $700,000 from Irwin Zahn and the Moxie Foundation, Cathy Pucher directs the Zahn Center for Engineering Innovation. The Zahn Center provides a real place for students and staff to start collaborating and expanding their entrepreneurial ideas. The Center runs on an incubator system which in essence provides mentorship, engineering services, space, and development all in support of helping students and staff start businesses. Cathy Pucher’s job will be guiding students and staff to set realistic goals and deadlines for them as a way to further improve and develop a business. Also, working in conjunction with the College of Business will help engineering students and staff members understand the business aspect of advancing their ideas.
