The Engineering and Interdisciplinary Sciences (EIS) Complex construction is well-underway, with the footing excavation starting on February 29, 2016, a week ahead of schedule. The EIS Complex will house state-of-the art research laboratories for renewable energy systems, biomedical engineering, and wireless communications. The construction of the EIS Complex will be completed in Fall 2017. We hope you enjoy reading the stories of our Faculty, Student, Alumni and Community Program accomplishments for Spring 2016.

The EIS Complex is a key piece in the drive to become a top-50 public research university. Not only will it enhance SDSU’s teaching and research capacities, it will also help attract the best and brightest research faculty and students.
San Diego State will be hosting over 240 teachers for Project Lead the Way, beginning June 14-July 25, 2015 - it's the largest class yet.
