Wednesday, June 25, 2008 - The San Diego MESA Alliance comprised of San Diego State University, San Diego City College and Southwestern College received $5,000 donation from PBS&J.
PBS&J is a long time supporter of MESA in San Diego. This donation furthers assists the San Diego MESA Alliance in providing for it's students out-of-classroom experiences and professional development opportunities.
The grant, which was funded through the PBSJ Foundation Inc., will be used to host San Diego MESA students at the 2009 MESA Leadership Summit at the Indian Hills Camp in Jamul, California from February 27, 2009-March 1, 2009. This 3-day summit will support 60 San Diego MESA students and will focus on individual strengths, teamwork, Ethics and Leadership.
