Research Opportunities

There are numerous opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to engage in ongoing research in Aerospace, Bio, Civil, Construction, Environmental, Electrical, Computer, and Mechanical Engineering as follows:

Undergraduate Research Support

Research opportunities for undergraduate students are arranged with individual faculty members, through the Department Chair of undergraduate programs.

Undergraduate students could also take advantage of Graduate Research Fellowship opportunities by applying for them during their junior and senior years. Some of these opportunities are listed below:

Graduate Research Assistantships

Students supported on Research Assistantships work under the supervision of a faculty member on research projects funded by grants. Graduate research assistants often work on material that is directly related to their theses or dissertations. Research Assistantships are awarded by individual faculty members. Subject to satisfactory performance and the availability of funds, RAships are renewable each semester.
