We would like to say thank you to all of our sponsors and everyone who helped us out both leading up to and at the compitition. Without all of your help we would have never made it. Thank you.

Down the Home Stretch
Today marks one month until the 2008 Formula SAE West Competition in Fontana, CA. The team continutes to work hard to finish up the 2008 car. Currently we are still working on minor electrical issues, tuning the engine, and finishing up all the final touches on the body work. Check back soon for picture of the finished car.
All Hooked Up
Caleb Dittrich and Kevin Epps have been working to integrate and complete the engine management system. During the winter, the two teammates have finished “plugging in” the AEM unit supplied at cost by Apex Speed Technology at Venice, CA. Currently, minor issues are being sorted out before we can begin mapping and tuning the engine.
Apex Speed Technology has supported us in the past by providing fuel injectors and other parts at cost, as well as providing support at our first attempt to start the car.
The Past, the Future – Fall 2007 in review
Fall 2007 started with a combination of the old and new. The construction of the car was already mostly done. The CAM center hadn’t changed much either. However, SDSU Formula SAE saw some organizational changes. The team now consists of an administrative section and an engineering body. Showing events were being held to gain exposure and a more systematic sponsorship cycle began.
Under this new structure, we gathered a new generation of team members. Many of the members are sophomores and juniors who are to replace the seniors that have been leading the team.
Some of the existing seniors found themselves swamped with upper-division coursework, yet continued to contribute and guide the green members.
