SDSU Students and Faculty Recognized at American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics San Diego Awards

SDSU aerospace engineering students and faculty were recognized for their work through both awards and scholarships at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics San Diego 2022 Awards.
On Saturday, June 4, 2022, Dr. Xiaofeng Liu won the Outstanding Contribution to Aerospace Education Award for 2022 and Dr. Gustaaf Jacobs won the Outstanding Contribution to Aerospace Research for 2022.
Four of our Aerospace Engineering students received the Reuben H. Fleet scholarship: Kaylin Borders (not pictured); Nfn Bhavana; Nathalia Del Callejo; and Zachary Pyle. In addition, Nathalia Del Callejo was awarded the Outstanding Contributions to the AIAA San Diego Student Chapter Award.
