BIOGRAPHY
Milan is Vice President of Engineering at Qualcomm, where he leads Compute Software Engineering team, which develops software and ecosystems for Windows on Snapdragon PCs. Snapdragon processors are Qualcomm designed SoC (system on a chip) semiconductor devices that power mobile phones, XR headsets, IOT devices, automotive digital chassis and many other popular consumer products.
Milan is currently leading the effort of brining Snapdragon processors to the PC market, where they are being used by world’s top laptop manufacturers for new class of AI PCs. During his 20+ year career at Qualcomm, Milan has lead software development and commercialization of multiple generations of globally popular consumer devices such as Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy. Milan lead software development of first 5G Snapdragon processor (Snapdragon 865) and most recently Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor used in Samsung Galaxy S23 and many other flagship smartphones.
Milan started his career in AI, developing neural network based vehicle and airplane classifiers used by FHWA (Federal Highway Administration) and FAA (Federal Aviation Association). Prior to joining Qualcomm, Milan worked in several startups, developing one of the worlds first smartphones at NeoPoint, as well as IOT modules at Wavecom.
