BIOGRAPHY

Maysam Tawasha is the Vice President of the C5ISR and Training Solutions Market of the Naval Business Group of SAIC. She is responsible for the P&L, operations, strategy, and business development and growth of a $345M operation. She leads a 1300+ person workforce across multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations to deliver, engineering, integration, logistics, and enterprise and mission IT to our customers.

Maysam has over 20 years of Defense Industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility and program size and complexity. She is an accomplished leader with experience leading a portfolio of diverse programs to include software development, data analytics, fleet training, digital engineering, unmanned system, marine mammal training, and IT.

Maysam joined SAIC in 2000 in the finance department before transitioning over to program management in 2004 supporting multiple projects at NIWC Pacific and NAVWAR. She progressed rapidly to senior program management and took on a Portfolio Director role in 2019. She was promoted to Vice President of the C5ISR and Training Solutions Market in 2022.

During her time at SAIC, Maysam has supported the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. As Program Director, she led the success of the NAVAIR ALE Product Line Software Development and Engineering project supporting multiple applications and platforms for the V-22 Osprey. She has a solid record of business growth through solving customer’s most unique challenges.

After her success on the V-22 program, Maysam was promoted to Portfolio Director leading SAIC’s support for NIWC Pacific codes 53, 54, 56, and NAVAIR PMA-275. She was responsible for a diverse workforce across multiple CONUS and OCUNUS locations delivering engineering capabilities and solutions to all SAIC customers. As Portfolio Director, Maysam became increasingly passionate about leading teams while advocating for SAIC’s values of innovation, inclusion, and integrity. She received the SAIC integrity award in 2021. 

Maysam is currently a member of NDIA San Diego. She is also Vice President of SAIC’s Women’s Employee Resource Group and on SAIC’s Government Affairs Board.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Sonoma State University and a Master of Business Administration from University of San Diego. She holds the following certifications: Project Management Professional, Scrum Master, SAFE Scrum Master, and ITIL Foundation.
