Maysam Tawasha Maysam Tawasha is a seasoned DoW executive with more than 20 years of experience delivering innovative, mission-critical solutions to the U.S. government. As Senior Vice President of the C5ISR Market at SAIC, she oversees a robust $700M+ portfolio and leads a highly skilled workforce of over 2,000 professionals spanning domestic and international locations. In this role, she carries full responsibility for profit and loss, strategic direction, client relationships, and business development, driving growth and operational excellence across one of DoW’s most technically complex and strategically vital domains.
Since joining SAIC in 2000, Maysam has built a distinguished and impactful career marked by rapid advancement, sustained mission impact, and a consistent record of delivering results in challenging and dynamic environments. Over the course of her tenure, she has taken on roles of increasing responsibility, earning a reputation as a trusted leader who combines deep understanding of customer mission requirements with sharp business instincts. Her key focus areas include advancing all-domain warfighting capabilities, driving the implementation of Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2), and delivering cutting-edge C5ISR Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance and digital engineering solutions that empower warfighters at every level of the operational environment.
Maysam is widely recognized for her ability to bridge enterprise-level innovation to the tactical edge, translating complex technological advancements into practical, scalable capabilities that directly support national security objectives. Her leadership philosophy centers on building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of integrity and inclusion, and maintaining an unwavering commitment to the warfighter's mission. She serves as Vice President of SAIC's Women's Employee Resource Group, where she champions initiatives that promote professional development, mentorship, and community services. She is also an active and engaged member of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and Women in Defense San Diego, contributing her expertise and perspective to some of the industry's most important conversations around innovation, workforce development, and national security strategy.
Maysam's commitment to community and education extends beyond the workplace. She serves on the Board of San Diego State University's College of Engineering, where she helps shape the academic and professional development of future engineers and technology leaders. She also contributes her leadership to the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation, supporting initiatives that strengthen the region's economy and its ties to the defense and technology sectors. In addition to her external board service, Maysam serves on SAIC's Voluntary Political Action Committee (VPAC) board, demonstrating her dedication to responsible corporate engagement in the political process.
Maysam holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Sonoma State University — an educational foundation that has informed her ability to lead with both strategic vision and operational discipline throughout her distinguished career.
