Eric Pamintuan (he/him) is the Program Coordinator for the Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement (MESA) program, providing academic development and student support services to MESA's first generation and low income students.  SDSU's MESA program is a part of the San Diego MESA Alliance (SDMA), which was established in 2000 and is the statewide model for intersegmental regional collaboration in mathematics, engineering, and science education for economically disadvantaged and underrepresented student populations.  The SDMA consists of the Imperial Valley and San Diego college prep (serving numerous K-12 schools), and the San Diego City College and Southwestern College MESA programs. In addition, Pamintuan facilitates professional development opportunities such as STEM Shadow Day, industry Training Academies, and the College's Peer Tutoring Program.  Pamintuan joined the SDSU College of Engineering staff in 2007 as an Administrative Assistant for the MESA program after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration.  In his free time, Pamintuan enjoys contemplating what having free time would look like, while being silly with his 2 children.
