SERVICE Program turns Veterans into Working Engineers

Patricia Reily with veterans

College of Engineering staff member Patricia Reily continues to excel in her engineering SERVICE (Success in Engineering for Recent Veterans through Internship and Career Experience) Program, with the goal of creating a clear academic path from active duty to a successful career in engineering for veterans.  Her hunger and passion to help veterans obtain internships in engineering that lead to careers shows in the numbers. In the 14 months that she has worked here, Patricia has been able to network and find engineering internships for 33 veterans.

Patricia’s assistance and support for Veterans earned her an interview and story with SDSU’s KPBS Radio News.
