Equality Can't Wait Challenge - WE Inspire: Reimagining Engineering Diversity (WIRED)

Our 12 SDSU Women in Engineering full-time faculty and 2 staff came together to collaboratively submit a proposal, titled " WE (Women in Engineering) Inspire: Reimagining Engineering Diversity  (WIRED)" for the Equality Can't Wait Challenge, to address glaring gender disparities that remain in engineering fields.

If awarded, they will develop a novel mentorship model, and create a climate that builds an equitable women’s education, with a strong emphasis on women of color.  Additionally, they will work to develop leadership capacity for female engineering students and faculty across the California State University (CSU) System with their annual leadership conference, expanding the impact of our program throughout California.
