BIOGRAPHY

Anna Stahlak is early in her career where she is currently a Systems Test and Qualification Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems. Here she gets to play a part in test planning and execution for one of General Atomics remote pilot aircraft, the MQ-9 Reaper. She is also working towards becoming a certified USAF Test Director at her current position. Prior to being apart of the General Atomics team, she was a Mechanical Engineer at Northrop Grumman, helping update and modify the hardware that populated the main and forward operating bases for the Global Hawk. Anna is coming close to the two-year mark of being in the working world following her time at SDSU and she is excited where her career is going to take her.

Anna graduated from SDSU with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineer with the class of 2020. During her time at SDSU, she was able to achieve the honor of Valedictorian of the College of Engineering. She also was a part of SDSU’s Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving team as a swimmer, where her favorite event was the 200-yard freestyle. During the end of Anna’s time at SDSU, she was also able to become a certified Engineer in Training (EIT). Following her graduation at SDSU, Anna pursued a Masters in Engineering Management with a specialization in Project Management to help widen her perspective of the engineering world.
