MESA Graduation & Recognition Reception 2022

The 38th Annual SDSU MESA Graduation & Recognition Reception honors our MESA program graduates, degree candidates, recognizes their accomplishments, and thanks our alumni and industry partners.

Of the 45 2021 (Fall) and 2022 (Spring and Summer) graduating class of MESA program students, 34 students came from the College of Engineering and 11 students came from the College of Sciences. 

Of the 45 above, 12 had a 3.5 or greater GPA.

Of our 226 students in the MESA program from 2021 (Fall) to Spring 2022, 69 had a 3.5 or greater GPA (this 69 includes the 12 grads/degree candidates mentioned above).

At least 25 students conducted undergraduate research under SDSU faculty during the 2021-2022 academic year.

SDSU MESA alumna Daisy Galeana earned her joint doctoral degree and was honored at the event (page 9 on the program, these were her slides she shared during the Reception).
