MESA Transfer Student Lab Visit
March 16, 2017
On March 16, 2017, SDSU MESA hosted a group of students from the Ventura College MESA Program. The group was given a tour of the SDSU campus and received an inside look at several student projects and research laboratories in the College of Engineering, including:
- Rocket Project (led by Jennifer Martin Velazquez – MESA student)
- Design Build Fly (led by Haram Nguyen – MESA student)
- Aerospace Lab and Aerospace Machine Shop (led by Sean Wall – Graduate Student)
- Bio Engineering Lab (led by Laura Sandoval – Undergraduate Research MESA student)
- Water and Wind Tunnel Labs (led by Faculty – Dr. Xiaofeng Liu)
The trip helped inspire and strengthen the interest of the students in pursuing an engineering degree for their college education.
