Dr. Kevin Wood Develops COVID-19 Ventilator Prototype
Apr 4In just nine days, SDSU College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Kevin Wood and his Interface Design Lab team have designed and built a ventilator that may be able to be mass produced and supplied quickly to aid in the fight against COVID-19.

International Research Experience for Environmental Engineering Students
Dec 15Every summer for the last three years, Dr. Natalie Mladenov, Associate Professor, Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering has been leading a National Science Foundation funded International Research Experience for Students (IRES) project in South Africa on agricultural water reuse systems at the food-energy-water nexus.
SDSU Engineering students receive award from IEEE Power Electronics Society
Oct 5Electrical and Computer Engineering doctoral students, Fei Lu and Hua Zhang, received a Student Project Demonstration on Emerging Technology Second Prize Award from IEEE Power Electronics Society for their project “Long Distance Capacitive Power Transfer with One Pair of Metal Plates” at the 2017 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress & Expo.
MESA Transfer Student Lab Visit
Mar 16On March 16, 2017, SDSU MESA hosted a group of students from the Ventura College MESA Program. The group was given a tour of the SDSU campus and received an inside look at several student projects and research laboratories in the College of Engineering.
