Biography

Laura Sechrist Molenda is a Texas native who joined the SDSU College of Engineering staff in 2023. Laura earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications with a major in Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin. Laura's profession took her from Austin to Boston before she settled in San Diego. Previously Laura worked for premier advertising firms and a startup tech company, and now brings her experience to SDSU as the College of Engineering's Assistant to the Dean.
