Led by professors Marta Miletić and Mahasweta Sarkar, SDSU Engineering hosted a month-long outreach and workforce development workshop for local high school students this summer. Generous funding from The San Diego Foundation allowed for the workshop to bring Engineering to our next generation of potential engineers, scientists and researchers.

Summer Internship: A Day in the Life of Louis Dos Santos, a Construction Engineering major at SDSU. Louis is interning as a field engineer with Sundt Construction, one of the top leaders in safety amongst general contractors in the nation.

SDSU Electrical and Computer Engineering alumna Shideh Naderi (‘16) designs programmable magnets for NASA with the goal of making it easier for astronauts to transfer fuel on space missions.
