2017 Undergraduate Research Symposium Presenters Awarded at National Conferences
Nov 7The 5th annual Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS) was held October 13, 2017 on the SDSU campus. The MARC program in partnership with IMSD initiated the URS years ago in an effort to provide scholars with a platform to practice and develop their presentation skills before presenting their research to larger audiences at local and national conferences.
Fall 2017 Girls Day Out: High School Edition
Oct 9On October 7th, Project Lead the Way (PLTW) and SDSU's Society of Women's Engineers (SWE) hosted their annual Girls Day Out: High School Edition. This year 40 high school girls from 18 local high schools participated in a day filled with STEM activities, informational presentations, and opportunities to interact with SDSU students and engineering professionals.

2017 Monty Awardees Announced
Sep 5The 44th Monty Awards, the signature event of SDSU Alumni, will honor 10 distinguished Alumni and Friends of SDSU who have made significant contributions to the University, the San Diego community or California, nationally or internationally. Honorees for 2017 include College of Engineering, Daniel Goddard ('87), a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Director of Information Directorate at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).
Current Ph.D. Panel Event, Fall 2015
Jan 4The SDSU MARC program in partnership with the SDSU IMSD program initiated the Current Ph.D. Panel event in 2008 for students whose ultimate degree objective is a Ph.D. This year’s event was held on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00pm in GMCS 301.
