As SDSU entered the new millennium, it continued to reach for the stars.

The SDSU Aztec Baja SAE team is on a round trip journey of 7,500 miles, with the off-road buggy they built to compete in all three 2018 Baja SAE Competitions.

After graduation, Dan Jennings will become a Mechanical Engineer at SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific in Point Loma, a research facility for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Jennifer Boman worked as a quality-engineering intern at Accriva Diagnostics, a San Diego medical device company. After graduation, she will return to Accriva as an Engineering in research and development.

The SDSU Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering sent a record number of 125 students to the 2018 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Pacific Southwest Conference in Arizona. The SDSU ASCE students reached the podium eight times.

Five of the graduating SDSU Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) scholars will be heading to Ph.D. Programs in fall 2018. Daniel Delgado (Engineering), will attend the University of South Florida, as part of the Civil and Environmental Ph.D. Program.
