Particle Image Velocimetry Lab Session Introduced to UG Curriculum at SDSU
May 28The Particle Image Velocimetry Lab session was developed and taught by Dr. Xiaofeng Liu, Assistant Professor, SDSU Department of Aerospace Engineering, along with assistance from his graduate and undergraduate students. To date there are only 9 universities nationwide that have invested in this type of experiment.
SDSU Construction Management Major Close to Becoming a Reality – AGC Chair Campaign in Full Swing
May 26SDSU is in the final stages of approval for the Construction Management Major (CONM) in the College of Engineering. The Associated General Contractors of San Diego has provided leadership and a $700,000 gift toward a goal of $2.5 million to establish the AGC Chair in Construction Management.

May 8Carlos Gonzalez currently serves as the Regional Executive Officer & Sr. Vice President, Western Region South, for Clark Construction. Originally from Mexico City, Carlos' first memory of SDSU was walking across the footbridge on College Avenue and thinking how beautiful the campus was. This first impression led Carlos to enroll at SDSU in Fall 1994.

SDSU Rocket Project Receives Gift from Dr. Richard Woodcock
Apr 16The College of Engineering is pleased to announce that Richard Woodcock, PhD, has made a $100K gift to the SDSU Rocket Project. Dr. Woodcock's support has enabled the Rocket Project to design and build the dual cryogenic Methalox fueled rocket named "Lady Elizabeth."
$2.7M Estate Gift from Wayne and Mary Beitler Leutloff
Apr 10The College of Engineering is pleased to announce that an estate gift from Wayne and Mary Beitler Leutloff has been realized with an initial distribution of $2,748,126. Part of the distribution ($1M) is designated to name the Wayne E. and Mary Beitler Leutloff Student Innovation Center in the Engineering Interdisciplinary Sciences (EIS) Complex.
Dr. Kevin Wood Develops COVID-19 Ventilator Prototype
