The SDSU Femineer and Women in Engineering Programs hosted the second STEM Talk of the semester on Friday, March 5, 2021 featuring a panel of Motorola Solutions Women of the West.

The SDSU Femineer® and Women in Engineering Programs had the privilege of hosting the first STEM Talk with Industry of the Spring 2021 semester, on Friday, February 26th, with a panel of female engineers from Northrop Grumman.

On October 14, 2020, the SDSU Femineer® Program and Women in Engineering Program had their second WE Chat of the semester featuring Dr. Thais Alves from the Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Department, speaking on the topic, "Be yourself, everyone else is already taken."

The SDSU Women in Engineering Program and the College of Engineering Femineer® Program kicked off International Day of the Girl week with a STEM Talk featuring Motorola Solutions. The STEM Talk was held on October 9, 2020, and engaged over 40 participants consisting of high school and college-level students, educators, and Motorola engineers.

On Friday, September 25, 2020, the SDSU Women in Engineering (WE) Program and the College of Engineering Femineer® Program hosted their first STEM Talk of the Fall semester and third of the series to 21 attendees, featuring TRC Companies to a combination of high school and undergraduate students.

On Wednesday, September 9, 2020, the SDSU Women in Engineering Program and the College of Engineering Femineer® Program hosted the first WE Chat of the Fall semester, to more than 20 participants, featuring Dr. Tara Welborne.

The SDSU Women in Engineering & Femineer Programs had the privilege to host their second Summer STEM Talk Series with Industry webinar featuring Otter Products on August 18, 2020.

The SDSU Women in Engineering (WE) & College of Engineering Femineer® Program, in partnership with Qualcomm, hosted their first Summer STEM Talk Day on July 21st, 2020. Geared towards high school Femineer® students and SDSU WE postsecondary students, the event heavily touched upon the company’s internship and career opportunities.

The SDSU College of Engineering Femineer® Program recently partnered with the San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering to host the 2020 STEM Possible event held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

The SDSU College of Engineering Femineer® Program recently partnered with Barnes & Noble alongside World of Work®, and tabled alongside other San Diego County industry representatives and organizations with the goal of exciting K-12 students about STEM.

An alternative electrode material for brain implants has been shown to be MRI compatible and more durable compared to metal implants.

SDSU's Women in Engineering and College of Engineering Femineer® Program, in collaboration with the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation and hosted by the San Diego Amazon Web Services campus, recently hosted a Girl Powered Workshop.
