    The College of Engineering is pleased to announce that alumnus Paul Stuverud, ’71 BSEE and ’76 MSEE, has made an additional $50,000 gift to the endowed scholarship fund “Paul Stuverud MESA Endowed Scholarship” he created in 2019.

    Senior Design Project Team Selected as Semi-Finalist in NASA Moon to Mars Prospecting Challenge

    An interdisciplinary Senior Design Project Team consisting of ME students: Matthew Gonzalez, David Bunson, Krysta Rhodes, Jesus Figueroa; and ECE students: Jonathan Maravilla, Alan Clemenson, Brandon Mosburg, Ryan Marmion, and Humood Alghunaim as team members, is one of 12 teams from around the country selected to be semi-finalists in the NASA Moon to Mars Prospecting Challenge.

The STEM Talk was held on October 9, 2020, and engaged over 40 participants consisting of high school and college-level students, educators, and Motorola engineers.

    A native of Victorville, CA, George Parker came to San Diego State College to study Engineering. He graduated in January of 1962 with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering. That degree set him on a very rewarding career path.
